It’s all about improving development and providing potable water to the Bafia community in Cameroon – a cause that touches many lives. We’ve witnessed firsthand the power of collective action when we started working on this project. Binkira Foundation has undertaken as part of its activities to start with a drinking water supply project in Africa and more particularly in Cameroon. as you can see, the populations once lacking drinking water have found a smile again. The aim of “BINKIRA FOUNDATION” is to:
Promote socio-economic and cultural development, solidarity, and well-being of members.
- Create an environment and adequate conditions for the development of local populations in the educational, health, professional, and economic fields through multiple development projects.
- Raise awareness and keep local populations informed about the harmful effects of deviance, and dependence linked to social trends such as lack of hygiene, drug and alcohol abuse, violence of all kinds, and lack of respect to the elders who are the basis for the transmission of expertise and experience in development.
- Create development projects in agro-pastoral and other fields, while assisting young brothers and sisters in their academic and professional training.
- Create financing conditions for micro-projects and self-employment, to the benefit of young graduates in order to avoid their exodus to other regions and, in doing so, generate local jobs.
“BINKIRA FOUNDATION” has the following objectives:
- Make itself known to all BINKIRA and families by marriage of the existence of this association.
- Organize periodic meetings between members.
- Organize training seminars and workshops for brothers and sisters residing in Cameroon.
- Seek contacts with organizations, natural and legal persons in the countries of residence of members of the diaspora.
- Set up programs and projects contributing to the progress of BINKIRA.
- Fight the division, egocentrism, religious and political conflicts resulting from discussions, puerile and futile, not in line with the motto of the BINKIRA.
- Fight fanaticism of all kinds as well as indecent publications, incompatible with the objectives cited in the forums and pages that the Executive Board will establish, and determine who will be responsible for the execution of this vast project.
